1. Service Description

HealthLit provides curated summaries of peer-reviewed health and medical research articles. Our content is for informational and educational purposes only and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

2. Medical Disclaimer

HealthLit is not a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making any health-related decisions. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of information you read on HealthLit.

3. Account Registration

You may use HealthLit as a guest with limited features, or create an account for the full experience. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

4. Subscriptions

HealthLit offers a free tier and a premium subscription (HealthLit Premium).

• Payment is processed through Apple's In-App Purchase system
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period
• You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings
• No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

5. Intellectual Property

All content, including article summaries, audio briefings, and app design, is the property of HealthLit or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express permission.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
• Scrape, crawl, or automatically extract content from the app
• Share your premium account credentials with others

7. Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the Settings page in the app. This will permanently remove your account and all associated data.

8. Limitation of Liability

HealthLit is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from the use of our service or reliance on the health information provided.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of HealthLit after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
